Some Pic.'s of the build.

So after doing a SYE for JB's new XJ build
then building Sean a t-case for his XJ today
I got to work on my shit.
I got the upper link mount's done expect for trimming
the corner of the frame plate

My buddy Scourge brought me the
fresh rebuilt yota ifs steering box that's drilled and taped with hose's
and an 8" ram off his yota ( He's going full hydro) for my steering setup.

plan is tomorrow to get the body tub
from the house to the Lilly pad an get it cut and
back on the frame.

I got the rear link all most finished just have
some clean up grinding to do.
Some more test flexing. 25" under the tire with
still more travel in it.

we got the tub back to the Lilly pad.

The biggest dent in the tub.

So 30 min. later I cut the bitch in two.


Think I keep the dent so the tailgate's going back on.

Trimmed the tub and the tail gate section
to do some fitting and ended up with this.

With gettin the Mater ready for Joes for
the labor day run I didn't work on this
thing much last week.
Put some XJ rear spring's in the front for mock up today.
102" wheel base.

Needed the tranny out of the old sami
Didn't feel like laying on the ground so
I pulled it out the top.
Diggin my way to it.

Think I can get to it now.

Time for tube work.
Picked up three stick's of 1-3/4" dom tubing today.
Damn I need a trailer.

Started bending tube today.
Found this cage pic. I like so I'll do some thing close to this

Here's a pic. of one of the b- hoop's.
It's just set up there for the pic.
There's 11 bend's in this and then I had
to make a copy of it for the double b-hoop
set up talk about a pain in the ass.

First I'd like to thank AK for letting me borrow his bender.
Got started on the tube work this weekend.
Got the double B-hoop's and some of the back half done today.
Tomorrow I should get the air shock mount's bent and get the shock's
mounted and add gusset's to what I've got so far.

Well time to get back on the POS.
Got the tub welded together and the bondo work done.

Tub's bolted on and some body part's hung to get a look at it.
Settin at full comp. at 102" wheel base.

Did a little more on this.
Put the t-case in and got a mock up rear drive shaft made.
Did a little more of the body work on the cowl area
where the vent was bent a little.
