So turn's out the shift light doesn't like the solid core plug wire's
as they cause a lot of R/F noise. After talking with the tech. guy
at Raptor he said use some resister's to clean up the signal
and that helped but still not right.
So got to thinking late 60's vette's had a transister ign. system
and had the same issue so GM sleaved the wire's with some
braided stainless sleave to ground out the noise.
After not finding some sleaved wire I rounded up some stainless
sleave and made my own. I'll know later today is it work's.
