HF had a good sale yesterday on thheir 10K winch. $399 for sale instead of $549. Too good to pass up, and the clerk only charged $299. Got the 2-yr plan also. JSM84 Very Happy

Good deal on that.
My H/F 8000 worked great till I wound
the cable up on one end to much.

I got it mounted in the brush guard off of the 88 F-350 that Mark helped me mount up to the 84. Feels solid!!!

PLan to come up this weekend, then head off to Shreveport Monday/Tuesday for a few days, then on to Vicksburg, MS and Talladega, AL for the races. My Dad is building a metal A-frame for the shop, and we plan to work on that this wkend if I can remeber to pick up some welding rods. JSM84

finished the brush guard and the A-frame. It's more of a T-frame, saw one just like it at HF last weekend for 2x what it cost us to build. Started building my rock sliders, got one side made and bolted under the body. Got too darn cold to finish the other side.

Zuki, I could use some tubing bent at a 45 or a 90 on each end to weld onto the sliders. What's the status on your bender. i would need 4 bends on some 1-1/2" or 1-5/8" tubing.
Each slider is 56" long.I'd like the tubing to stick out about 4-5 inches from the body, maybe angled slightly upward at 15=20 degrees at most.

Got the winch mount done, and the other rock slider finished. Posting a pic or two, JSM84
